Job Summary
We are seeking a Personal Assistant for the Managing Director they must be organised, energetic, responsible and discrete to join our team based in Blyth, Northumberland, we are looking for the right individual to become part of the Windel Energy Team. We are looking for someone that knows when they are needed and when they are not, the ability to quietly go about the day is very important. The PA to the managing director must be aware of the organisations ethics, ethos and objectives and work to help ensure the MD make the best use of their time by assisting in various projects as well as dealing with all secretarial and administrative tasks. The PA will be the first point of contact on behalf of the MD with both internal and external persons, Discretion and Confidentiality are essential attributes to be successful at this role.
Personal Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
- Diary management
- Arranging travel booking flights, trains, hotels and visa’s etc
- Produce and reconcile MD’s monthly expenses
- Manage and report on annual leave, sickness for all staff
- Organising interviews
- HR Administration contracts/offer letters, relevant paperwork, maintaining personnel files
- Liaise with outsourced HR department
- Organising food/refreshments for business lunches
- Ensuring MD’s office and Board room are always presentable
- Inputting and updating contact details into Outlook
- Carrying out research for particular projects as requested by MD
- Organising corporate & staff events
- Managing First Aid and Fire Marshalling
- Taking minutes
- Organising MD’s personal family diary
- Assisting MD with personal holiday/events
- Ad hoc paperwork & duties
Personal Specification
We are looking for a consummate professional and if you are the right person you will already know all of the personal attributes that we are looking for, Enthusiastic, Hardworking, Organised, Adaptable, Presentable, Eye for detail and above all a good personal fit for our business and its leadership. The technical & essential skills we are looking for are;
- Experience of working for Directors/Senior Management
- Excellent diary management with the ability to pre-empt and look ahead at all times
- Essential experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/Powerpoint)

Junior Developer Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation of includes but not limited to;
- Generating and following up on leads – reactively and proactively acquiring new business
- Build & obtain a thorough knowledge of the company & the technologies we develop
- Learn & understand the different commercial structures of each technology in order to demonstrate benefits of each to potential clients
- Efficiently handle smaller opportunities through to closing
- Develop capabilities to manage the sales process & client engagement end to end
- Hand larger, qualified opportunities to the senior team to work alongside and help build the knowledge base which will allow you the opportunity to handle yourself in time
- Take ownership of clients and there ongoing communications
Personal Specification
We are looking for an Junior Developer that has the desire to learn and become a consummate professional by growing detailed knowledge and experience from the renewable energy industry. You will need to be Enthusiastic, Hardworking, Organised, Adaptable, Presentable, Eye for detail and above all a good personal fit for our business and its leadership. The successful candidate will also complete a Business Admin Apprenticeship alongside the role to help build key skills which will assist with developer within the industry.
